  WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

No one chooses to have an emergency when you're out in the wilderness. However, you can choose to know what to do when it happens. Watching this program is a wise choice for any outdoor enthusiast.

I found this program authoritative, informative and entertaining without overwhelming the viewer. It is a must see for anyone planning to go into the hills. I wish I had been able to watch it before my last adventure.

This DVD presentation is especially helpful to the novice and advanced among us, delivering important information in a well-sequenced format of clear instructional interviews and fine visual presentation. From the planning stages for an outdoor excursion to implementation of survival techniques, when necessary, the production helps to prepare an individual for an intelligent, informed and safe wilderness experience. This professional production is a greatly needed source of information, produced by a team of experts. Many thanks!

This program is an excellent resource. The scenarios depicted successfully illustrate the messages that are given verbally. Basics, such as creating a survival kit as well as common knots and lashings are included and are great reminders of the knowledge necessary to make it through a survival situation. Even those who are familiar with life in the out-of-doors need a refresher now and then and these DVDs fit the bill.

My wife and 3 children (ages 17, 14, 10) have watched Disc 1 with me. We agree that the material and presentation are the best that we have seen in this format. We have seen several videos in the past… and find yours to be far superior, both in information as well as production quality…Although little can equal actual experience in the outdoors, we find this is about as good as a DVD presentation can get on the subject.

I am a family physician and former Navy flight surgeon who has been through quite a bit of military survival training… and I find this training DVD to be excellent, even compared to the classroom part of the military training. My wife and I do a lot of work with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and think this material is superior to what they generally teach in this regard.

This DVD, in conjunction with some equipment props and some hands on in the outdoors would make an excellent survival course, but it still excels as an informational course by itself.

Keep up the good work!

Self-reliance has been a large part of what keeps me attracted to the outdoors. You never know what will be thrown at you out there, and I need to be (and enjoy being) ready, willing, and able to deal with it. Prepared To Survive will take you a long way toward self-reliance if you lack the skills, and a long way further if you already possess some of the skills.

We have long held the view that a person who enters the wilderness with some forethought as to what could go wrong and comes up with possible answers to those situations is much more likely to react with a cool head, thus making survival a lot more likely. Prepared to Survive is such forethought- it makes you think about the possibilities and gives you answers to some of those nagging questions. It can happen to all of us, and perhaps a lot more people would have survived their ordeals had they seen this video.
