About LifeView Outdoors

We specialize in offering outdoor gear and supplies that meet high standards of quality and cost effectiveness. Unlike large retailers, we actually use most of the products that we sell. Each product listed on our site is placed there only after a careful review of the product's purpose, effectiveness, durability and value.

Our entrance into the outdoor marketplace started with the completion of the Prepared to Survive DVD set. While in production, we became familiar with the operation and effectiveness of various types of survival and outdoor equipment. We reasoned that, in addition to the information on the Prepared to Survive program, our audience would want the convenience of purchasing a selection of reliable equipment from various manufacturers, all in one place and at competitive prices. So, here we are.

LifeView Outdoor customers are outdoor enthusiasts of all types. They include hikers, hunters, backpackers, campers, fishermen, climbers and outdoor photographers -- to name a few. The folks here at LifeView are also outdoor enthusiasts. In fact, the scenic photos on this site are from trips we've taken with family and friends. Our goal is to provide practical information and reliable gear for all who venture into the wilderness.
