CamelBak Insulated Stainless Steel Better Bottle .5 Liter

The CamelBak Insulated Stainless Steel Better Bottle lets you keep 16 oz. of your favorite beverage cool for hours. Stainless steel construction assures durability, is taste-free, stain resistant and non-leeching (BPA free). Double wall construction with vacuum insulation provides excellent thermal performance for many hours.

The Stainless Insulated Better Bottle comes with a 63mm cap that’s compatible with most water filters and accessories. The cap features CamelBak’s Big Bite valve that allows you to simply flip the valve up, bite and sip. No tipping is required, thanks to the built-in straw. The cap has an integrated handle, giving you a convenient way to secure it to your pack or gear. The wide-mouth design makes it easy to clean the bottle or add ice.

The bottle will keep beverages cold for many hours. It will, of course, also keep beverages hot, but CamelBak does not recommend drinking hot beverages through the Big Bite Valve due to risk of burns. The insulated .5 liter bottle is the same size as the .75 liter non-insulated bottle and will similarly fit in many cup holders.

The bottle is dishwasher safe or can be cleaned easily by hand with a bottle brush. The cap assembly may also be cleaned in the dishwasher (top rack only). The straw and bite valve can be removed to facilitate thorough cleaning of the lid proper. Place the small parts in the dishwasher’s basket if possible. Carbonated beverages are not recommended simply because they can build up pressure and exit the bite valve with great force and messy results. CamelBak recommends removal of the straw and employing the tip and sip method of drinking with carbonated beverages.
