Aquamira Water Treatment Drops treat drinking water using chlorine dioxide, a well-established disinfectant that is iodine and chlorine free. Chlorine Dioxide as been proven effective against viruses and bacteria and other protozoa when used properly. Aquamira destroys the waterborne pathogens without discoloring the water or adding an unpleasant taste. In fact, Aquamira can actually improve the taste by neutralizing unpleasant flavors.

Aquamira Water treatment is a two-part treatment system. Parts A and B must be pre-mixed before adding to water. This allows the two components to activate, creating a strong oxidant and effective germicidal agent. Read and follow the directions carefully. Each package treats up to 30 gallons of water, depending on the clarity of the water to be treated. Aquamira drops are most often used to preserve or treat stored water, to disinfect natural water in the backcountry, to traeat tap water in foreign countries and in emergency preparedness kits.
