Potable Aqua Chlorine Dioxide Tablets

Potable Aqua Chlorine Dioxide Tablets disinfect backcountry or other untreated water using chlorine dioxide, a powerful oxidizing agent.  PA Tablets are effective against bacteria, viruses and cysts, including Giardia, E-coli and Cryptosporidium when used as directed.  One tablet treats one quart of water.

Because these tablets employ chlorine dioxide as the disinfecting agent, there is no aftertaste, in fact these tablets may improve the taste of the water.  PA tablets destroy viruses and bacteria in 15 minutes, giardia in 30 minutes and cryptosporidia in 4 hours. For complete protection, a four hour treatment time is required.  Each tablet is individually wrapped and sealed. 

These compact lightweight tablets are recommended for campers, hikers, military personnel, relief organizations, emergency and survival kits. Maximum shelf life is four years, depending on conditions.  The tablets are in childproof packaging and scissors are recommended for opening. 20 tablets per package.
