Katadyn Vario Microfilter

The Vario microfilter features a multi-stage filtration system that allows you to configure the filter for longer life in dirty water or maximum flow in normal conditions. The Vario outputs up to 2 liters/minute in faster flow mode and 1 liter/minute in longer life mode. The 0.3 micron filter removes bacteria and protozoa to EPA standards.

In dirty water conditions the field cleanable ceramic disc protects the primary filter, in normal water the ceramic disc is disengaged for faster flow. The replaceable cartridge is long lasting with a lifespan of up to 500 gallons (depending on water quality) and has a carbon core that improves the water’s taste. An efficient dual action pump provides continuous output with minimum effort. The Vario's adaptor base attaches directly to most bottles and an output hose is included for hydration bladders and large containers. 

The Vario Microfilter comes with one Vario cartridge, one Vario ceramic disc, one intake hose w/modular prefilter, one output hose w/bottle clip, one carry bag, one cleaning pad and one tube of silicone lubricant.
