Katadyn MyBottle Water Purifier

The Katadyn MyBottle Purifier replaces the popular Exstream XR Purifier, adding new features, but keeping the simple, effective operation that outdoor enthusiasts have always counted on. Just dip the bottle in, attach the lid/filter and drink. No pumping is required and the 3 phase filter/purifier eliminates protozoa, bacteria and viruses. This includes Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E Coli, Salmonella and hepatitis. The Katadyn MyBottle Purifier is the only EPA registered bottle purification system available.

Improvements include a cushioned, flip-up mouthpiece, a cartridge life counter, an attachment loop and a drinking straw that allows you to use the bottle without the filter cartridge when safe water is readily available. The MyBottle Purifier is ideal for hikers, backpackers, international travelers or disaster preparation kits.

The MyBottle Purifier has a capacity of 24 oz. a filtering capacity of up to 26 gallons (depending on water quality), and has a dry weight of only 8 ounces. The activated carbon prefilter removes sediment and improves the taste and smell of water.

The Virustat microbial purification cartridge incorporates a activated carbon prefilter, a one-micron cyst filter and an iodinated resin cell. The result is pure clean water without waiting or pumping that’s 99.9999% free of bacteria, 99.99% free of viruses and 99.9% free of cysts . The polyethylene bottle is BPA free.
