Fallkniven S1 Forest Knife

The Fallkniven S1 Forest Knife is an uncommonly well-built, well-balanced general-purpose knife. The unique laminated blade design has a center layer of hardened VG10 steel with an outer layer of resilient 420J2 steel. This design produces outstanding edge retention and exceptional strength. It's estimated that laminated blades are about 20% stronger than comparable solid blades.

The 5.1" modified clip point blade is convex ground for superior edge strength and cutting power. The S1 has extended tang construction and a textured Kraton handle. Available in satin or black blade finishes. Black blades are finished with a Teflon Ceracoat 8H coating. This coating provides increased corrosion protection and eliminates unwanted reflections. You should expect the coating to eventually wear away with hard use.
