The SOG Seal Pup Elite and the SOG SEAL Pup are the smaller brothers of the SEAL Kinfe, which was originally designed for, and adopted by the US Navy Seals. It is a moderately sized, well-balanced, lightweight knife ideal for camping, hunting and other outdoor pursuits and is particularly suited for use in wet environments.
The Seal Pup Elite features an AUS 8 blade with a satin finish and a modified Bowie design. The handle is glass-reinforced Zytel, with finger grooves, a lanyard hole and a raised diamond texture for secure handling in all conditions.
There are two sheath available, the standard tactical nylon sheath with modular mounting options, MOLLE compatibility and a secondary pouch for accessories. Or the optional groove Kydex sheath that allows you to cut lines without unsheathing your knife. The belt lock can be removed allowing the groove sheath to be used a a slim profile friction sheath.
