The Ontario RAT-3 is a compact, heavy-duty knife designed for hard use in the outdoors. An extension of the Randall’s Adventure and Training line of knives, the RAT-3 fits extremely well in your hand and has all the traditional characteristics of RAT knives. The .125 thick blade is a flat ground, drop point design for maximum strength and cutting ability. The blade is made of 1095 carbon steel with a black phosphate finish.

Although a compact knife, the RAT 3 has the feel and utility of knives that are much larger. The wide blade design and the ergonomic Micarta handles work together to provide the user with a feeling of stability and balance. The versatile Blade-Tech sheath has several options for left or right hand mounting with the included boot/belt clip and TekLok clip.
