The Ontario Knives TAK 1 is perhaps the quintessential survival knife in almost every way. The classic drop point blade style makes for a strong point, the blade’s 1095 carbon steel has excellent strength and edge retention and the full tang/exposed pommel construction is extremely tough. The contoured micarta slabs fit the hand nicely and offer a secure grip. The cordura nylon sheath is ambidextrous with flexible mounting options.
