SOG combined two of the most fundamental tools that an outdoorsman needs-a knife and a saw, and came away with the 7.4 oz. Team Leader Survivor. A strongly built tool expressly designed to help you survive in the wilderness. An innovative design, SOG started with the acclaimed Team Leader Knife in AUS 8 stainless steel and added a very aggressive saw to the spine of the blade. Unlike many other knives with saw tooth backs, the saw on the Team Leader is a strong, functional, double tooth saw that rapidly cuts through wood on both the push and pull strokes. Immensely useful for improvising shelter, cutting firewood or clearing trails, the Survivor saw is safe and efficient way of cutting wood.

The Team Leader is a nicely balanced, ergonomic field knife with a streamlined blade design. A recipient of Field and Stream's Best of the Best award in 2007, the Team Leader has quickly become a favorite of hunters, hikers and campers. The Survivor version adds an important capability to an already practical knife. The saw will quickly and easily cut through both hard and soft woods several inches thick, allowing you to get a fire going quickly or cut a ridgepole for a shelter.

The Survivor has a full-length tang with textured Zytel grips. An oversized lanyard hole is large enough to accommodate a snap or carabiner. The Survivor's particularly nice balance, plus the additional capabilities of a saw make this an ideal tool for hunters, campers and hikers who want to have the capabilities of a hardworking saw without the additional weight.
