The SOG Field Pup is a lightweight, general purpose knife well suited for most hikers, hunters and campers. One of SOG's most popular knives, the Field Pup is a reliable yet modestly priced knife with many features usually found only on higher priced knives. And with a weight of only 3.5 ounces, you’ll hardly know that you have it until you need it.

Blade
The Field Pup has a 4-inch drop point blade with a full tang, and a satin finish. Made of AUS 8 Stainless Steel with a Rockwell hardness 57-58, the blade has good edge retention and is easy to resharpen.

Handle
Made of slightly resilient Kraton, the handle has molded-in finger grips, side checkering, and an ergonomic shape. All these characteristics provide a safe and comfortable grip. This knife includes a nylon sheath with an accessory pocket.
