The SOG Spec Elite I is a robust folding knife based on the proven SOG Pentagon Elite series. One of the key features borrowed from the Pentagon series is the Arc-Lock locking mechanism. This design is self-adjusting and has been lab-tested to withstand over 1000 lbs. of force.
The .135” thick blade is designed for extreme use with a slightly recurved main edge, satin finish and drop point. The Zytel handle has stainless steel liners and an open back that prevents the buildup of debris. The blade rests almost entirely within the handle when folded.
Dual thumbstuds allow ambidextrous operation without additional modification. The pocket clip is reversible and there is a provision for attaching a lanyard.
The Spec Elite I is a unique and well-designed knife, well suited for use in extreme environments.
