Polar Pure uses pure crystallized iodine to economically destroy water-borne pathogens including Giardia cysts and micro-organisms that may pass through some filters. One bottle treats up to 2000 quarts of water.

When used as directed, a saturated iodine solution of 300 parts per million is maintained in the bottle. This saturated solution is then used to disinfect your water at an optimal concentration of 4 - 5 ppm iodine.
