The Aquamira Frontier Pro ultralight water filter removes contaminants down to 3 microns and is designed to connect easily to hydration packs, standard water bottles and water bladders. The Frontier Pro removes 99.9% of Giardia, Cryptosporidium and other pathogens larger than 3 microns. Activated carbon helps reduce waterborne chemicals and can improve the taste of water. Miraguard antimicrobial technology suppresses the growth of mold, mildew, bacteria, fungus and algae in the filter media. 3 replacement prefilters are included in the package.

The Frontier Pro has several innovative features. It can be connected directly to any water bottle that has 28 mm threads. This straightforward design helps to eliminate cross contamination and the jumble of hoses. 28 mm threads are found on most commercially available water bottles and on many water bladders including Platypus bottles. In addition, many hydration pack tubes can be directly connected to the intake port. The filter includes a 12 inch draw tube when direct connections are not available.
To use, attach to the water container using the tube or 28 mm threads. Pull up on the cap strap and let it fall to the side. Bite on the valve and suck to draw water through the filter. You’ll need to use a disinfectant for complete protection against viruses and small bacteria. The Frontier Pro is rated to filter up to 50 gallons and weighs only 3 ounces.
