Exotac nanoSTRIKER XL Fire Starter

The Exotac nanoSTRIKER XL is a slightly larger version of the popular nanoSTRIKER. The XL has more fire starting capacity while incorporating the same overall design. The nanoSTRIKER XL is 3.65 inches long, 0.43 inches in diameter, weighs 0.95 ounces and fits easily in a survival kit or pocket. The contoured, textured housing is made from T6061 aircraft aluminum offering all-weather operation and durability.

In use, the striker is removed and the main housing is attached in its place to the top of the ferro rod. This creates a handle that easy to grasp. The uniquely designed tungsten carbide striker has four striking edges. Each component is O-ring sealed for protection against water and corrosion. Each nanoStriker XL includes extra O-rings, a small split ring and a lanyard.
